As the pumpkins begin to droop and the kids begin to wear their pajamas again instead of Halloween costumes, we feel the sometimes cool breeze of winter and see the twinkle of Christmas lights on the horizon. This can be one of the happiest times of the year and one of the most strenuous. As parents look for holiday outings to share with their children, they often find themselves in a financial bind because of presents and stocking stuffers. Thankfully the community has the perfect free solution for all families in the area! In the last few years, we were blessed with the construction of The Shops at Wiregrass. A place where you can spend a small fortune on clothes and fine dining, but also a place that offers one of the best Christmas environments around.

Launched on November 20th and going on until December 31st, parents can enjoy the spectacular 'Symphony in Lights' presentation in the center of the development. The breathtaking show will be sure to keep both parents' and childrens' heads raised with mouths open as they take in the intricate detail and flawless timing of the dancing lights to music. Accompanied with fun play houses for children and plenty of other families to mingle with, this is the perfect venue for both veteran and new parents to the area. With the immense popularity of this event, however, I do suggest that families plan ahead when attending. The show is every hour on the hour from 6pm - 9pm.

Planning to eat? Make reservations; days in advance if possible. Want to be there before the little ones get too cranky as the evening falls? Check the traffic using your Verizon Fios Traffic Widget found in the menu section of your television, or popular mapping sites such as Google Maps. Leave 15 minutes earlier than you would with the anticipated traffic. All the preparation is worth the magical, and FREE, evening you can show to your loved ones. Bring your family, friends or neighbors... but most of all, bring the magical holiday spirit of Christmas!
