If/Then explores life's paths in a deeply moving and revealing story.
At the opening of Beautiful: The Carol King Musical we overhead someone discussing If/Then after seeing it in New York. She described it to her friend as "the best musical I have ever seen" adding, 'bring your Kleenex!" We will be ready as we too anticipate seeing what the New York Magazine described as, “Thrilling! The best musical of the year.”

Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, the team who brought us Next to Normal, a show about mental illness in suburban America addressing psychiatric ethics, suicide and drug abuse expanded the realm of subject matter for musicals then and now. If/Then is an introspective peek at alternative existence, of roads not taken of the person you might have been in a clever and extraordinary way.
