I've had the privilege to attend this event the last few years and it's such an elegant event so it's an absolute pleasure to attend. Eddie V's is always a cut above in their execution of this event as food and service is flawless (led by GM Stephen Hickey), but best of all it's all for a worthy cause. The Debartolo Family Foundation is the beneficiary of this dinner, where all guests wear white probably for the final time this summer season. Most of the time you are surprised and delighted with celebrities in attendance and last night was no different.

I saw Chris Archer of the Tampa Bay Rays,Joey Fatone of boy band N'Sync and others from the Tampa Bay Lightning Organization as well. The restaurant closes for this private event, so it's really a great use of such a beautiful venue.
Guests are greeted with cocktails, hors d' oeuvres, live entertainment and then treated to a full four-course dinner.
There are plenty of eye-catching details in the decor, and the raffle prizes are usually so awesome. Last year I was lucky enough to win Janet Jackson suite tickets in the Debartolo Suite at Amalie Arena, and it was one of the highlights of my life in most recent memory! This is probably one of the most intimate and sophisticated events of the year that I attend, and knowing that it benefits the Debartolo Family Foundation makes it incredibly worthwhile to attend and enjoy.

Thanks to my employer for the tickets (Nationwide Title Clearing) and Michael Blitch Photography for the gorgeous photos.

More about the Debartolo Family Foundation
The value of a Foundation to its community goes beyond financial contributions. A Foundation provides faith and supports the dreams of its recipients. Since 2001, the DeBartolo Family Foundation has given hope to many less fortunate individuals and groups in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. The devotion to our community remains steadfast and strong. From time to time, each of us has an opportunity to reach out and make a difference in our community. We are proud of the contributions our Foundation has made.
