From March 3rd until March 13th, Plant City will be transformed into one of the best festivals in the state. There are four main aspects of the festival to keep in mind: Midway, Kiddie Corral, Free Entertainment and Concerts. Strawberry Festival’s ‘Midway’ is the place you want to be for rides, games and attractions. They offer excitement for all ages with high velocity rides as well as traditional Ferris Wheels. Amongst the rides can be found several food vendors that serve everyone’s favorite festival foods from corn dogs to funnel cakes. One of the most popular attractions that the Strawberry Festival offers, and one that is not to be missed.
The Kiddie Corral is another popular event inside Strawberry Festival that is perfect for families. The pig races will have the kids jumping in excitement as they cheer on their favorite oinker. The babies will sport their stuff in competitions such as a diaper derby, beauty and decorated diaper contest. Top it all off with shoebox floats and a baby parade for the entire Kiddie Coral event to come together.
Strawberry Festival also offers plenty of free entertainment with concerts, magic shows and even a lumberjack show. It is important to check schedules to make sure favorite and free events are not missed.
