Opened to the public late last week, Villagio Cinemas at Carrollwood is North Tampa's newest destination for dinner and a movie in an upscale theater atmosphere.

Located at 11778 N. Dale Mabry Highway in the Main Street shopping plaza, Villagio Cinemas at Carollwood boasts a pristine interior featuring six screens, leather motorized reclining seats, an Italian-influenced menu and a full bar, according to the Tampa Tribune.

If it's features are any indication, Villagio has pulled out all the stops with amenities like robotic leather seats which give patrons control over not only their reclining level, but height as well.  In addition, each of the six screen boasts the latest technology in digital projection and sound.

Inside the Villagio lobby you'll find a full bar with seating for 25 where patrons can enjoy after- or before-movie drinks and food.

Speaking of food, Villagio's Italian-inspired menu was crafted by Giuseppe Mascali, owner of Villagio Ristorante in Lutz, and features an assortment of appetizers, panini sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and more.

Villagio Cinemas at Carrollwood will open at noon each day, offering a $10 movie at noon followed by movies regularly priced at $12.  Family movies will be shown during the day, but after 6 p.m., you've got to be 21 or older with proper identification to get in.
