Looking for things to do for the 2011 Father’s Day in Tampa? Here are a few ideas to help get you in the right direction…

Because Father’s Day always falls on a Sunday, the 2011 Father’s Day is on June 19th, think about taking dad out for a day of golfing!

Father's Day Brunch at GrillSmith - Start his day off right with a Sunday Brunch at GrillSmith Restaurants. With 6 locations in the Tampa Bay area, there is bound to be one near you.

Free Admission at Florida Aquarium - All weekend long, the Florida Aquarium is honoring our dads with FREE admission with the purchase of a full paid general admission.

Golfing in Tampa - Treat dad out to a day of out on the course. Try one of the golf courses in Tampa like The Claw at USF. Not a golf pro, let him swing a few at the golf range or putt a few on the mini course at Ace Range Golf & Mini Golf.

Free Bowling & Food for Father's - Treat dad out to hours of fun and food at Splitsville in Channelside. Father's get to bowl for free and get 1 food item off the menu for FREE.

Father's Day Fest at Glazer Children's Museum - Shhhhh, don't let dad in on this secret but the Glazer Children's Museum is having a special creation zone where children can create special gifts for their father.

Father's Day Dinner at Grille 54 - Treat dad out to Grille 54 in either Citrus Park or Trinity. They have amazing steaks like a juicy 6 oz. Filet Mignon or a 12 oz N.Y. Strip! The beer at Grille 54 is amazing with Dogfish Head and even Chimay Triple at the Trinity Location!

Father’s Day Brunch or Dinner cruise on the Yacht Starship - Located in Channelside, the Yacht Starship cruise is a way to go all out for dad this year with either their brunch or dinner cruise.

No matter what you decide to do for dad on the 2011 Father’s Day in Tampa, make sure to remember it is not about the money you have spent or the gifts you have given, but the appreciation you show for how much these great dads do day in and day out. Happy Father’s Day!
