Think the carnival is just for kids? That's too bad. Because on Saturday, August 18, Tampa's Inter-Krewe Council will host Carnivale, an all-day celebration of fun and revelry at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Westshore.
Set to kick off at 11 a.m., Carnivale will feature a full day's worth of everything from classic carnival games to great drink specials, a wild pool party, live DJ music, and more.
Guests are encouraged to come out dressed in their best costumes for a chance to win at the IKC Carnivale costume contest and hungry as well as free hot dogs and snacks will be served all day at the party.
The party will officially kick off the with Carnival Daze Poolside Party where guests can come play by the bool with drink specials like $3 Bud Lights and, for those looking to go all out, VIP cabanas and hospitality available.
At 7:30 p.m., the Midway will open with classic carnival booths, live dj music, raffle prizes, midway prizes, big raffles, and, best of all, an open bar from 8 to 11 p.m.
