We've all heard of the Final Four, but the Frozen Four?  It exists, and showcases the top four hockey teams in the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship.  Come April 5th and 7th next year, it'll go down right in our backyard at the newly renovated Tampa Bay Times Forum.

This is pretty monumental since it's the first time the Frozen Four has ever taken place in the southern United States.  Hosted by The Tampa Bay Sports Commission and University of Alabama in Huntsville, the tournament is a great opportunity for Tampa hockey fans to see their beloved sport in a whole new way.

The final four teams will square off with two games at the Forum on Thursday, April 5th at 4:30 and 8 p.m.  Then, the championship will go down on Saturday, April 7th at 7 p.m. where the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Champion will be crowned.

Last year the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs took the championship over Michigan who's won the tournament 7 times, the most in the entire league.  This year, Minnesota-Duluth is currently ranked #1, so a second championship could definitely be in their future.  Michigan isn't faring so well with a 9-8 record and 20th place in the rankings.

Want to check out the frozen four?  Tickets can be purchased for all three games for $195 plus service charges.  This single price is for every section in the Tampa Bay Times Forum so grab them early and get some great seats.
