On Wednesday evening, 813area.com held its first-ever open house event at CoWorkTampa in the Westshore area.  People from all around the Tampa Bay area came out to learn about our site, what we do, and wind down with some great food and drinks after the long work day.

A variety of delicious food was on hand from some awesome Tampa restaurants cool enough to sponsor and contribute to the event.  Westshore's own Gogos Greek Grill provided a beautiful and equally delicious spread of chicken and lamb gyros as well as Greek salad; Tampa nightlife hub and restaurant The Rack provided their popular sushi with all the fixins for us to enjoy; and Downtown Tampa's Pizzaolo Bavaro provided a delicious spread of Pasta al Pomodoro.

We also want to give a special thanks to Uhsome Media and CoWorkTampa for hosting the event. We encourage everyone to check out what CoWorkTampa is all about and learn more about how coworking is a great way to provide office space to small and growing companies.

Another special thank you to the International Academy of Art and Design of Tampa for coming out and introducing us to your programs, current students and alumni. We look forward to a continued partnership.

The 813area open house was a success in all accounts. In fact, so much of a success and based on feedback we received, we plan to do more events in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled and, in the meantime, explore 813area.com and see all we have to offer when it comes to entertainment, dining and things to do in the Tampa Bay area.
