What do you get when you add Spring Beers + Cocktails + Surf Rock + Food + Retro + Games? A whole lotta throwback fun at the 2015 Spring Beer Fling! Now in its second year, this unique Downtown Tampa festival celebrates everything Spring by throwing a good old fashion retro beach bash.
First up, the beverages. The Spring Beer Fling salutes the best Spring beer releases from Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, New Belgium, and Cigar City Brewing along with some specialty beer cocktails and shandy’s. Non-beer drinkers never fear! There will be plenty of tasty Spring inspired libations from Twisted Tea, Angry Orchard, and Deep Eddy Vodka.
What’s a beach bash without music? The party will be rockin with sounds from headliners The Black Lips and seven other bands including Jensen Serf Company, Band in Heaven, Funny Bunny, The Riot Act, Wake Up, The Woolly Bushmen, and the Johnny Zoom Hi-Fi Show.
Rounding out the suds and sounds will be snacks from some of Tampa Bay’s favorite food trucks and general shenanigans including a hula hoop contest, a 3 story tall water slide, and a lighted beach ball drop.
There are several ways to enjoy this festival. General Admission Flingers enjoy entry to all the fun along with all day re-entry privledges.
