Time to celebrate the creative culture that is rampant in our community! This Saturday at "The Artpool Gallery St.Petersburg will be the “I Love St.Pete Party," an all ages event that will include a display of artists, fashion designers, and musicians.
Some of the designers and local boutiques that will be featured are Starrbird Design, Eugenia Woods, Rehab Exchange, Revolve, and ARTpool Vintage.
The Vultures, a surf-pop band, and The Royal Vynes, an electro-pop group, will be providing the musical entertainment for the day.
As for the artists, anyone can enter their artwork into the art show. All artwork themes from any age are accepted! Each submission to the art show is $10. Don’t let submission prices discourage you though, all participants are allowed to price and sell their artwork with no gallery commission! For anyone that wants to be a part of a fun community project, there is an open call for submissions to the “I love St.Pete” Gallery. All submissions are accepted as long as they’re on a 4" x 4" mini canvas and fit the theme of “St.Pete." Artists should paint something that shows what they love about St.Pete or what the city means to them. This gallery will be on display not only for the event, but on through January 25th, and as aforementioned, artists can price and sell their work with no gallery commission!
The deadline for artwork submissions to ARTpool's gallery is January 9th.
On the day of the event, the doors open at 8pm with the runway show starting at 10pm. All participating artists get free admission; general admission standing room tickets are $10, and VIP runway seat tickets are $20.
