Tampa is no stranger to legendary guitar heroes shredding their respective axes throughout arenas, theaters, and stadiums throughout the city, but when a figure as iconic as Carlos Santana rolls through town, it's definitely going to be a special occasion.

That's what's going down this Sunday, August 26 when the world-renowned guitar legend and Grammy-winning recording artist plays a hit-filled set at the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre in Tampa.

Even at 65, Carlos Santana is showing no signs of slowing down.  With 52 albums, 32 singles, 10 Grammys, and a Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame membership earned throughout his illustrious career, it's easy to see how.

Santana's concert at the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre comes a few weeks after a string of summer dates across the country where the guitar virtuoso and his namesake band performed fiery renditions of all their hits ranging from "Black Magic Woman" to "Oye Como Va", "Maria Maria", "Love Is You Love Is Me", "Smooth", and highlight tracks from the latest album, Shape Shifter.

Tickets are still available for Santana's August 26 concert at the Amphitheatre and there are a few ways to get them.  You can find Santana concert tickets right here on 813area.com or browse the remaining available tickets at the Santana Ticketmaster page.  Official tickets range in price from $31.50 to $105.50 plus all applicable service fees.

If you're still in the mood after the concert, the legendary Gaspar's Grotto in Ybor City is hosting a fun-filled  Santana After-Party.  Head down I-4 after the concert and enjoy all the great things Gaspar's has to offer including a massive outdoor patio, great drink specials, Florida-inspired fare, and more.
