If you've ever seen a Cirque du Soleil performance you know how amazing this entertaining display of human acrobatics can be.  Lucky for us, the Downtown Tampa area will play host to a one-night-only display of Cirque-style entertainment when Cirque Over the Park comes to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday, June 2.

Kicking off at 5 p.m., Cirque Over the Park will feature a full evening of unique and professional Cirque-style entertainment, live music, great food, and hundreds of Tampa's best mingling in the fun and cool setting of Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa.

This special brand of Cirque-style entertainment is composed of expert aerialists, acrobats, and circus performers defying gravity and wowing the crowd with trapeze acts, hoops, tissues, and more.

In addition, there will be live music from great local performers including Justin and Travis from the Tampa band The Groves and dance music purveyors the Fencewalk Band.

General admission tickets to Cirque Over the Park are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the show.  VIP tickets are $75 and include access to a special, secured VIP area with private bathrooms, buffet-style dining, open bar with beer/wine/cocktails, and a special viewing area for the show.  To purchase tickets, visit the Cirque Over the Park ticket page.
