Post time is 12:25 for the fourth annual Summer Festival of Racing at Tampa Bay Downs! This two day event of racing, fun, food and music kicks-off the 4th of July weekend on Thursday the 30th with an 8-race Thoroughbred card, ending Friday night with a concert. Unparalleled thoroughbred racing sets the tone for what is sure to be a memorable weekend at Tampa Bay Downs. The Black Honkeys and Soul Circus Cowboys add to the excitement with their signature brands of Mowtown, Funk, and Soulful Rock & Roll, Friday night at 6 p.m. General admission to the concert is $5, VIP seating is available for $10.

Note: A jockey's challenge takes place during the races with a first prize of $2500, second $1500 and third, $1000. So come on out to the Downs where you are sure to see spectacular races as these Maidens take the track!
