How many times have you heard this or something like it; "Oh man, I'd love to go out, but I'm so broke."

Probably enough, maybe from yourself from time to time.  It seems almost inevitable; go out and you will be spending money in one way or another.  Luckily, we've got a great monthly cure right here in Tampa.

It's called Rock the Park and aside from being completely, 100%, abso-lutely free, it's actually a really awesome time.  At Rock the Park, you can enjoy a wide variety of great Central Florida bands while relaxing in beautiful Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

It goes down on the first Thursday of every month and typically starts around 6:30 p.m., just late enough to beat the Florida heat and eventually watch the sun set over Downtown Tampa and the Hillsborough River.

And if the free-ness of it all couldn't get any better, admission to the neighboring Glazer Children's Museum is free all day until they close at 9 p.m.

Pretty sweet deal, huh?  Plan a trip, bring the family, get out there, and see what it's all about.
