If the sound of eight surf rock bands, Spring beers, a 3-story tall water slide, and a lighted beach ball soiree, didn't get you excited enough, hold onto your flip flops. We just got a sneak peek at the 12 Specialty Beer Cocktails, Beer-linis, and Shandy's they'll have on tap at the Spring Beer Fling and we're counting the days until March 21st. A little bit beer, a little bit cocktail. Although you're probably used to seeing beer and cocktails on separate menus, beer cocktails are the new rage in craft drinks and the offerings at the Spring Fling are over the top enticing. Sriracha fans will be bellying up to the bar to try the Sriracha Michelada, a mix of Tecate beer, tomato juice, lime, and Sriracha Hot Sauce. A few of the other beer cocktails we're looking forward to trying include The Screw Brew: a mix of Wheat Beer, Deep Eddy Grapefruit Vodka, and Orange Juice; the Blood Orange Bourbon Brew: Sam Adams Rebel IPA, Bird Dog Bourbon, and Blood Orange Sour; and the Arnold Palmer Remix: Sam Adams Cold Snap, Lemonade, and Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka.
The twisted cocktail fun doesn't stop there. The Spring Fling will also feature fresh made Shandy's, a mix of beer and lemonade, and an endless variety of Beerlinis, beer mixed with fresh fruit puree! Pair peach, rasberry, black cherry, mango and more purees with the latest Spring beer releases including Samuel Adams Cold Snap, Jdub's Poolsie Kolsch, and Florida Beer Company's Key West Southernmost Wheat.
Not feeling the beer cocktail love? Don't worry. Traditional rum cocktails from Naked Turtle, including the Naked on the Beach, and the Naked Coco will also be available. And of course there will be some great local food to help soak up all that booze.

The Scoop:
The Spring Fling takes places on Saturday, March 21st at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa from noon to 10 pm.
Bands include The Black Lips, Jensen Serf Company, Band in Heaven, Funny Bunny, The Riot Act, Wake Up, Woolly Bushmen, and The Johnny Zoom Hi-Fi Show.
Advance General Admission tickets are available for only $14! Advance VIP tickets are $75.
