With cooler weather fast approaching it's starting to become a great time to check out a great farmers market in your neighborhood.  St. Pete's got their famous Saturday Morning Market.  But, for those in Downtown Tampa, the Tampa Downtown Farmers Market is a great place to shop for super affordable, farm fresh produce and other delectable foods.

Now in its fourth October-May season, the Tampa Downtown Farmers Market happens every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 200 and 300 block of Twiggs Street.  It's here where Tampa residents and visitors alike can grab some of the freshest produce possible, take home prepared food, lunch, and other gourmet goods at reasonable prices.

Vendors sell goods including flowers, organic fruits and vegetables, herbs, and more.  Prepared foods at the Tampa Downtown Market including baked knishes, jellies, jams, nuts, pasta, kettle corn, cheese, and honey.

Or, if you're working in Downtown Tampa, stop by for lunch.  Dine on tasty fare including bratwursts, Greek food, jambalaya, gumbo, pierogies, smoothies, shakes, and much more.  Shopping options include vendors selling crafts like glass art, jewelry, apparel, and more.
