One thing that's difficult about being a food lover in Tampa is the abundance of great dining throughout the area. Getting acquainted with the restaurant scene here can be a long, experimental, and expensive process.
Taste of South Tampa makes this much easier by bringing over 30 South Tampa restaurants and awesome live entertainment together for a full day of delicious fun at Hyde Park Village.
This year, the 7th Annual Taste of South Tampa will go down from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 15. Unlike other "Taste of" festivals that charge per food sample, Taste of South Tampa includes all-inclusive food and beverage with the price of admission. This means unlimited food as well as complimentary drinks including Heineken Beer and Barefoot Wine.
The price of admission is $35 in advance and $40 on the day of the event. Tickets for kids ages 11 to 20 are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Kids 10 and under get in free.
VIP tickets are $50 in advance and $55 on the day of the event. These include a VIP Wine & Champagne Tasting as well as gift bags for the first 300 attendees.
Guests at the Taste of South Tampa will also be entered in a ticket raffle with prizes including a chauffeured night on the town in a Bentley and furniture items from Ashley Furniture. In addition, ticketholders will also be able to cast their vote for which participating restaurant deserves the title, “Best of the Taste of South Tampa.”
