Tequilas, Ybor City's newest casual Mexican restaurant and bar, will premier with a Grand Opening and Cinco de Mayo Party going down this weekend, May 3-5.
Ybor's been long overdue for a casual Mexican restaurant where families, coworkers, and friends can gather for casual cocktails and classic Mexican fare. Now, Tequilas is set to deliver from their expansive location featuring an expansive outdoor patio and more at 1613 E. 7th Ave. in Ybor City.
Tequilas will offer a variety of Cinco de Drinko specials all weekend long to commemorate Cinco de Mayo 2013. These include $5 fresh squeezed margaritas, $2 Cinco beers (Corona, Pacifico, Modelo, and Dos Equis), and $5 Herradura Tequila shots to get the party started without having to break the bank.
In addition, Tequila's will offer up their standard assortment of Mexican fare, which, we can vouch for, was pretty darn delicious when we visited for a stop on the Taste Tour of 813 just a few weeks ago. Menu highlights include Papas Carne Asada fries topped with grilled pork, guacamole, and a layer of melted cheese; a variety of burritos with fillings like carne asada and more; and fried shrimp tacos with cabbage, avocado chipotle mayo, and cilantro.
On Sunday, May 5, Tequilas will officially celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2013 with all the great specials listed above and a mariachi band performing live from 6 to 9 p.m.
