Based off the premise that you don't know someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes, men that participate will be wearing women's heels, wedges, pumps, and stilettos and walking a "mile"(approx. 1/8th of a mile) to show their support and commitment. This year they will host a post-walk celebration where participants can hang out and enjoy some music, games, contests, drinks, and snacks. Previous years have broken attendance records of 400-500 people.
