Named one of the top 10 beer festivals in the country by USA Today, Lowry Park Zoo's annual beer festival, WaZoo 2013 will return on Saturday, August 3 for a night of delicious craft beer, live entertainment, and more.
Featuring over 250 beers from around the world, including many from right here in the Tampa Bay area, the 18th Annual WaZoo is sure to be a beer lover's paradise as a variety of breweries set up shop throughout the zoo to offer drink samples and more for the tasting.
Even if you're not a beer aficionado, WaZoo 2013 offers a little something for everyone with a number of other alcoholic beverages as well as a huge variety of local cuisine from restaurants all around the bay area ready for the sampling.
In addition, Lowry Park Zoo will feature a variety of live entertainment throughout the park for WaZoo 2013 including concerts from a number of local and regional acts soon to be announced.
There are two ticket options for attending WaZoo 2013. The first is a general admission ticket which will get you a small sampling mug and access to all the beers, food samples, and live entertainment located throughout Lowry Park Zoo. Early bird general admission tickets are on sale now for $60 and $25 for a non-drinking, designated driver ticket.
The second option is the Beastly Beverage Club VIP ticket. This will get you early access into WaZoo 2013 before everyone else AND access to the only air conditioned space at the event, the Safari Lodge, featuring its own live music, extra food, and specialty beers. Beastly Beverage Club tickets are $100 each and $50 for a non-drinking, designated driver ticket.
