First Choice is highly recommended by most residents in Tampa. I agree that their meat and sides are saucy goodness and certainly paint the perfect picture of what I imagine when I think of the word bar-be-que. The restaurant itself is small and gets slammed with traffic, especially during peak lunch and dinner hours. Be prepared to give your order when you get to the front or both impatient diners and an impatient staff will certainly push you along and take other customers on. You definitely get your bang for your buck with large portions and there has never been a time when I visited and left with any hunger left behind. Overall, a great BBQ joint.
