| So who is going to the Gasparilla Festival this year? I have been the past few times and absolutely love it! It is my favorite event in Tampa and is one of my favorite holidays behind Christmas! Yes Gasparilla is a holiday...atleast to the people of Tampa! So does anyone know who is playing on stage at Gasparilla this year? | This was to be my 1st Gasparilla Fest as I just moved here. Tampa needs to get some peeps from Chicago here to show them traffic control during the fest! We were stuck in front of Hatricks for 45mins! Never saw the fest or parade. ALL streets were closed(even the ones they said would be open!) Ask a Cop where to go "I DONT KNOW" After 1 1/2 hrs. sitting in traffic-got on xspesway & went home. I wont be doing that again! | | | May 20, 2008, 7:23 am | | |
