I just moved here in July. Where is the hot spot now, since most of these forums are outdated? I don't like to go out by myself but maybe a place to meet people? Thanks everyone! :)
First of all some of my favorite places to hang out are The Rack in Hyde Park & all the bars in Channelside. As for the latest hot spots...Jackson's on Friday nights are popular again and although I have never been, The Flo Lounge in Clearwater is a happening spot.
As for meeting people in Tampa I always recommend joining an social club like the Tampa Sports & Social Club or if you are religous joing an organization like the Relevant Church of Tampa which is located in Ybor City that caters to younger people and does a lot of social events including working with Guavaween. I can go on and on about things to do in Tampa so just feel free to ask. It can be hard being new to Tampa or any place for that matter. But exploring & experiencing is what can also be so much fun!
