How much are tickets? Get tickets to Guavaween in advance for $12! Advance Tickets online from the Ybor Chamber of Commerce. The day of the event, October 29th, tickets are $17 at the gate. The event begins at 3pm so if you get there before 3pm you can get in FREE.
Is there an age requirement? There is no age requirement for Guavaween as it is an event open to all ages. This is not an event to bring children to, though, as a lot of the late night activities are for adults. While all ages are allowed into the festival, the bars and clubs may have age requirements to enter as many of them will be either 18 and up or 21 and up. There is a family Guavaween event for the children called the Guavaween Family FunFest, however, the event was suspended for 2011 so stay tuned for details on whether the 2012 Guavaween Festival will have this event.

2011 Guavaween Parade Route
The Mama Guava Stumble Parade takes place on 7th Ave through the heart of Historic Ybor City. The motorized floats were brought back for 2011 festival. This is a big win for the festival as many of the Krewes in Tampa have motorized floats for the parade.

Parking & Transportation
There are several road closures in Ybor City for the festival so if you are visiting from out of town, make sure you get familiar with the roads in Tampa. Historic Ybor City is located just south of I-4 and north of the Selmon Expressway (Crosstown). There are several parking lots and garages around Ybor but there are also places to park in the nearby Channel District or Downtown. Transportation is available with the TECO Line Streetcar System to/from Downtown, Channelside and Ybor.

The following will be strictly enforced:- Must be 21 or older to consume alcohol
- Open containers only permitted in designated areas
- Alcohol may not be consumed from kegs or large vessels
- Must purchase alcohol from vendors
- Only cans or plastic bottles permitted; no glass or Styrofoam cups or containers
- Use port-o-lets and other restroom facilities
- No Fighting
- No Property damage
- No Trespassing
- No nudity or flashing for beads
- No Public intoxication
- No Driving under the influence
- No motorized vehicles or bicycles
