Google has done it again… Google+ is on the horizon, and no one knows just what Mark Zuckerberg is going to do. It seems that Google, with Google+, has solved all the concerns and granted everyone’s wishes with how they lay out their new social networking feature. Think of everything that has frustrated you about other social networking sites then see how Google has answered the people’s demands with Google+.

They call it ‘Circles.’ With Google+ Circles, you can pick and choose who sees what you post. For example, you can have a ‘circle’ with your closest friends, another for family and another for co-workers. If you want to tell your friends, or show them, something you wouldn’t want your family or co-workers to see, you can post it to that specific circle. Genius! There are endless ways to detail these circles, completely customizable according to what you want. When you add someone to one of your circles, that person does not know which circle they have been added to, only that you would like to add them to a group in which you want to share information pertaining to that group. Again, genius! And forget about all the updates you don’t want to see from others, you can choose which circle’s updates you want to see. This is everything that we have all wanted in a social networking site and everything we didn’t know we wanted!

Sites that have finally found ways to connect people the way they want, when they want are always welcomed by the public. Going one further than Google+, sites found in MyAreaNetwork.com connects people to those local in the area. 813area.com, for example, is a Tampa site that connects the people of Tampa socially to other people in Tampa. With sites like these, it is definitely a refreshing change from the norm of previous social networking engines that shall remain anonymous… for now.
