With the new school year just around the corner, summer is now coming to an end. Fortunately for students, the University of South Florida is surrounded by the best nightlife that offers student discounts, drink specials, and more! Read more to discover some of the best bars, clubs, and more around the University of South Florida in North Tampa.
The Amphitheatre - If you love electronic dance music and good vibes, see for yourself why everyone considers the Amphitheatre to be one of the biggest party places in Tampa. Every Friday and Saturday night you can enjoy yourself with drink specials, a rotating dance floor, and 70,000 watts of heavy bass courtesy of Tampa’s best DJs.
Bulls Club – Conveniently located in the USF area, Bulls Club is one of the most popular nighttime hang outs for students. Enjoy a night on the dance floor, playing a game of pool, or participating in their great beer pong tournaments. Come out on a Thursday night and satisfy yourself with nickel beers and fifty cent pitchers. If you like a challenge, come out on a Friday night and spend $10 on all you can drink. USF students can also receive a discount every night as well.
Peabody’s – Open every night of the week, Peabody’s offers a full service restaurant, four high volume bars, pool tables, TVs, a dance floor, and much more. Whether you want to grab a bite to eat with friends or dance the night away, Peabody’s is always a great choice for a good bar around USF.
Acropolis Bar & Grill – Acropolis is another place where USF students receive a discount and definitely the place to be for a good time. Every Wednesday night beginning at 10 p.m., the Greek restaurant turns into a high energy night club. With a dance floor and an outside hookah lounge, this is a great place to have fun with other students.
L.A. Hangout – Just because it’s a Monday night doesn’t mean you can’t go out. Mondays are college nights at the L.A. Hangout which means $1 drinks! You can choose to either hangout at the bar or out on the dance floor. Either way, this place always gets wild, and will change your mind about hating those Mondays.
