We're lucky here in the Tampa Bay area as we're afforded a ton of places to kick back and drink right on the water in (knock on wood) mostly bearable weather all year round.  While the rest of the country freezes their faces off, forced to drink inside artificially warm, cavernous bars and clubs, we've almost always got the option here in Tampa to get outdoors and enjoy a cocktail at a ton of different waterfront bars and restaurants.

Duke's Retired Surfers Island Bar most definitely falls into this category.  This waterfront bar, part of the Hula Bay Club is the place to be if you want to take in some real island vibes with your food and drink.  Enjoy live music out on this covered outdoor bar all nights of the week while you look over beautiful Tampa Bay.  Got a boat?  Dock that thing right at Duke's and make a delicious pit stop with island libations like their Bluebird Margarita with fresh lemonade, Kona Beer, and Sauza Tequila or their Kahanamoku Kick nade with dark and light rum, fresh fruit juices and garnished with pineapple.  Bar selections also include a variety of mojitos, martinis, and bottled beers as well.

If you're hungry, the Hula Bay Club, which Duke's is apart of, has you more than covered with a diverse array of seafood, sandwiches, sushi, and more.  It's only fitting that raw oysters would be served at a place like this.  Alongside those, enjoy menu highlights including blackened shrimp tacos, a wide assortment of signature sushi rolls, and a mouth watering mixed grill seafood entree with scallops, shrimp, and fish served with cheese bread, asparagus and citrus salsa.

Head out to Duke's Retired Surfers Island Bar at Hula Bay today and give 'em a shot.  You might be surprised at what you find, and how you feel, after a relaxing night out overlooking the water.
