With one of the most extensive line-ups of craft brews, microbrews, imports, and seasonals, not to mention their flair for BBQ, New World Brewery in Tampa no longer brews, but we don't care! As one of our favorite Pet-Friendly Bars in Ybor City, we were excited to meet Manager Dean Rosenberger to talk about what this eclectic, laid-back bar is up to these days! As a longtime fan of The Munsters, even their Location tickles me, 1313 8th Ave, Ybor City. It may not be Mockingbird Lane, but it's just as quirky and fun!
Owner Steve Bird opened New World twenty-one years ago, Dean has been onboard for the past nine. When asked what makes New World Brewery unique, Dean responded with the PERFECT answer, "For the most part, aside from its longevity, the decor, and the atmosphere. It's something I can't quantify." And he's right, you can not pigeon-hole New World Brewery, it's unique unto itself. New World is a comfortable place people want to come back to again and again for many reasons.

There is NO EXCUSE to not stop in for Sunday Brunch at only $15 per person (11 AM - 2 PM), and Happy Hour every day from open until 8 PM. Getting the picture? New World Brewery is all about you! They know what we want quantifiable or not, a relaxing and communal space, a peaceful beer garden where we can relax with our fur-legged friends and slow-smoked jerk marinated wings! Yup! (According to Dean, they are a huge hit; if you like spicy, these wings are shameless!)
New World offers their legendary BBQ Buffet Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM. Things get funkier on Wednesdays from 7 PM - 9 PM during BBQustic, a mash-up of BBQ and Acoustic guitar, stop in every Wednesday and enjoy acoustic music with NWB's famous BBQ for only $5 per plate!
