The PPC Tour is stopping in Tampa again at famed Silks Poker Room for five days this September as part of the North American Championship, Tampa Fall Classic leading to the World Championship in Aruba in November. Players can win money, entries and free travel to Aruba while earning PPC Poker Tour Player of the Year Points during this series. Sunday’s Main Event in North Tampa is a guaranteed $50,000, in Aruba, it's a guaranteed $500,000!
We are excited once again to have the PPC Tour select Silks Poker Room as one of only 26 stops across the United States on the road to Aruba. Silks Poker Room is a jewel we can all be proud of. Inside Tampa Bay Downs at the top of the Bay you can ante up in the friendliest poker rooms around! We were not surprised to learn PPC partnered with Silks yet again for this prestigious poker event and look forward to seeing PPC's Commissioners Sandy Swartzbaugh and Bryan Oulton. Beginning September 14th at 1 PM a Seniors (50 and up) No Limit Texas Hold’em (NLHE) tournament takes place with a $5000 guarantee, the evening winds up with a 6 PM NHLE Tournament offering a $10,000 guarantee. Thursday at 1:00 there’s an NLHE Double Green Chip Bounty Tournament followed by the Main Event Satty with a $70 Buy-In at 7 PM.
Main Event Flights 1A & 1B take Place Friday at 1 PM and 7 PM respectively, with Flights 1C and 1D on Saturday, also at 1 & 7 PM. The Main Event Day 2 begins Sunday at 1 PM. Twenty percent of the PPC Silks-Tampa Series event prize pools go toward entries into the 2016 PPC Aruba World Championship. The World Championship held Nov. 2-8 at the Hilton Aruba Resort features a $2,400 buy-in, and a $500,000 guaranteed main event.
