The Lodge is arguably one of the most unique dining experiences you can have in SoHo or Hyde Park.  Maybe that term gets thrown around a lot to get people in the door, but really, you've got to see some of these items on the menu to believe them.

We'll start with the appetizers.  What do you think of when you hear spring rolls?  Light, Asian delicacies with a few bland bean threads filling an oily, crunchy, wrap?  Not at the Lodge.  Sample some burger spring rolls with - gasp! - actual meat and served with an intriguing Mexican ketchup.  Or, try some New York street style soft pretzels stuffed with jalapeno jack cheese.

For an entree, how about five-buck mac n' cheese?  Not just plain mac n' cheese either.  Choose from BBQ chicken, broccoli and bacon, chicken parm mac, and more.  "TV dinner" it and add three sides from their selection of sweet and spicy cucumber salad, turkey chili, chips and queso, and much more.

If the mac isn't your thing, you've still got a dizzying selection to choose from.  Try some of their brick oven pizzas like the Lodge with mozzarella, tomato, and basil or the chicken pesto with grilled chicken and pesto sauce.

The sushi at The Lodge is truly in a class of it's own.  Take, for instance, the Hillsburger roll - hamburger, bacon, spicy french fries, onions and lettuce, cheese sauce - or the Wild West Roll with blackened chicken, avocado, crispy onions, cilantro, and fried plantains topped with tortilla chips and Sriracha aioli.

The Lodge is also a nightlife hotspot serving up a variety of inventive and classic cocktails for the Hyde Park crowd.  Try the Dragon's Breath with dragonberry rum, muddled strawberries and sprite or the Pale Ale Mojito with Sierra Nevada, muddled mint, and lime.

If you're looking for a new, novel restaurant in Hyde Park, head out to The Lodge and see what it's all about.
