The Skate Park of Tampa, or SPoT, has provided a nationally acclaimed place for skaters, BMX riders and fans to hang out and practice their skills. SPoT has hosted competitions and been a stop for popular tours like Local Exposure. The healthy outlet that this skate park gives from Tampa’s youth to professional skaters and riders is a luxury that many cities do not have.

What’s more is the Skate Park of Tampa opened a nearby bar and café called The Bricks of Ybor. Here, patrons of the skate park and locals to the area come together and indulge in some of the most delicious and unique food in Tampa. Menu items like the Bird and Pig, a combination of chicken, bacon, brie apple and agave nectar, give guests every reason in the book to keep coming back. Paired with your favorite brew or tea, this is the perfect way to start, end or just take a break from a busy day.

The Tampa community is thankful to the owners of SPoT and The Bricks for giving a positive outlet with their skate park and a place to both eat and enjoy quality company in the area. Make sure to check out SPoT and The Bricks of Ybor, and as always let us know what you think by leaving your opinions with ratings and reviews.
