Heads up if you're looking for some family-friendly, fun and affordable things to do in Tampa this summer. Summer Fun Nights at the Florida Aquarium will return every Thursday night from now until August 8 (excluding July 4) with extended hours, discounted admission, live entertainment and more each week.
Visit the Florida Aquarium in Channelside anytime after 4 p.m. on these select Thursdays and admission is only $15. Head out see and learn a variety of aquatic creatures, stroll the Wetlands Trail for an up close view of Florida wildlife, touch rays and sharks at the new Stingray Beach and more.
The Florida Aquarium will feature performances by The Florida Aquarium Mermaids at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on select Thursdays. If you've got little ones who love the water, the Aquarium will open their Explore A Shore outdoor water adventure zone where kids can bring swimsuits to play and splash around.
There will also be a variety of live entertainment and dining options each week as the Aquarium remains open until 8 p.m. on Summer Fun Nights
