When it comes to weekend brunches in the Tampa Bay area, the Booze Cruize Brunch at Gaspar’s Grotto would likely sit towards the top of the list, and for good reason.
This legendary Ybor City bar and restaurant plays host to the Booze Cruize Brunch every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., a veritable cornucopia of fresh buffet items, a la carte meals, and, naturally, a boatload of different booze to start the day off right.
The Sunday menu at Gaspar’s Grotto offers a variety of different options for getting your brunch on. For the ultimate experience, go for the Famous Booze Cruize Brunch ($31.95) which will get you access to the Gaspar’s brunch buffet featuring a raw bar and carving station, one hot item of your choice from the a la carte menu, a three-ounce carafe of vodka for the bloody mary bar, and a 1/2 carafe of champagne for mimosas. Dining for two on the Booze Cruize Brunch will get you a full bottle of champagne.
Other options include the Booze and Buffet ($27.95) which includes everything listed above minus the a la carte menu item, the Brunch and Buffet ($23.95) which includes buffet access and an a la carte item, and the buffet only ($19.95) which includes “eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, raw bar, breads, charcuterie, yogurt bar, salmon station, and more” according to Gaspar’s Grotto.
Even the a la carte items are surprisingly filling. These include lobster benedict, pumpkin cranberry pancakes, a fried shrimp po’ boy, and more.

Gaspar’s will also host their last Summer Beach Bash of the season on Sunday, July 19. The Beach Bash takes a private, charter bus from Gaspar’s to St. Pete Beach and back for a full day of fun in the sun with drinks, food, and more. Brunch then the beach? Doesn’t sound like a bad day at all.
