Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, an upscale dining and bar chain, will open their newest location in Tampa's Westshore District sometime in mid-March, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

The new winery and restaurant will be located in Metwest International, a 32-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Westshore which currently houses Tampa restaurants, Kona Grill and Texas de Brazil, as well as an assortment of retail, hotel, residential and office spaces.

According to the Journal, Cooper's Hawk has signed a lease for an 11,229-square-foot space inside Metwest International which will house the Countryside, Illinois-based chain's 12th location.  The Tampa location will join a roster of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants around the country including a soon-to-be-opened location in Orlando as well as established locations in Columbus, Ohio; Arlington Heights, Illinois; and Kansas City, Missouri.

Cooper's Hawk will serve an assortment of their own, award-winning wines prepared at their eponymous winery, which produces over 125,000 gallons of wine each year for the restaurant's multiple locations throughout the country.

In addition, the new Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Tampa will offer an assortment of appetizers, chopped salads, entrees, and a full bar alongside their signature wine selections.  Menu highlights include Thai lettuce wraps, Chicken Saltimbocca, short rib risotto, and more.

An exact date hasn't been given for Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant mid-March opening, but we'll keep you updated as more news arises.
