Monstah Lobstah.  It sure sounds like a place right off the shores of any New England town.  They've even got it down to the accent (like Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting trying to say "monster lobster"), but Monstah Lobstah is right here in the heart of Tampa.

For any New England-area transports hankering for some of that classic, seafood goodness that could only come from the north, Monstah Lobstah is sure to be a favorite amongst the many seafood restaurants in the area.  And now, they're in historic Hyde Park at a great location (1901 Platt Street) next to Hyde Park Cafe and The Rack.

What can you expect at Monstah Lobstah?  Well, for one, there's always a ton of classic, boiled lobster on hand ranging from 1 and 1/4 pounds to 3 pounds.  Aside from their namesake food, Monstah Lobstah also offers up a ton of New England seafood classics including rolls (shrimp, lobster, scallop, fried clam, and more), snow crab, fried belly clams, New England style seafood chowder, crab cakes, and much more.

If you're out at any of the clubs in Hyde Park or SoHo on Friday or Saturday night, Monstah Lobstah has you covered for some late night munchies too.  They're open till 3 a.m. on both these days.

They've also got a ton of specials throughout the week as well.  Some of these include all you can eat snow crab on Tuesday nights; Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. everyday with $10 select pitches and 1/2 off appetizers; extended Happy Hour on Monday from 5 p.m. to close; and more.
