Pink Flamingo Cafe on Davis Islands Closes its Doors for Good

  By:   Published:

Opened in 1997, The Pink Flamingo Cafe managed to become a regular cafe for Davis Islands residents and visitors alike at both its locations in the area throughout the years, but apparently not regular enough.

According to TBO.com, the teenage-aged Davis Islands cafe has closed its doors for good.

The Pink Flamingo was known for its quaint seaside theme and a varied breakfast and lunch menu that matched it.  Offerings at the Pink Flamingo Cafe ranged from classic eggs, bacon, and homefries to crab cake benedict, Biscayne burgers, turkey melts, chicken sandwiches, soups, salads, and more.

In 2003, the Pink Flamingo Cafe moved to its current location at 304 E. Davis Islands Blvd. just a block from where it started.

The cafe will soon be replaced by a yet-to-be-named restaurant according to TBO.com.
