The event everyone has been talking about, and the fashion show that has continued to inspire fashion forward citizens of Tampa, left an unforgettable impression on all who attended the Chillounge Night Tampa 2011.  The fashion show did so well that everyone has been asking where they can find all the different looks.  After a bit of research and in-depth interviews, the answers have been found!

Brandi Kamenar, CEO & Creative Director of Icon B. Marketing & Publicity Group, answered questions about the boutiques, designers and looks that went into the 2011 Chillounge Night Fashion Show in Tampa.  Curtis Hixon Park was brought to life when the catwalk became filled with the professional models – Benz Model & Talent – displaying these iconic looks from The Hot Spot 813, Urban Body Clothing and Kit’s Well Heeled & Well Dressed

The Hot Spot 813’s boutique owner, Angie Nicolas, was chosen as one of the three boutiques to present in the fashion show.  The looks from The Hot Spot 813 told an elegant story of both evening and cocktail wear with eye-popping colors and body complimenting designs.  Angie’s store, located at 1517 E. 7thAvenue in Tampa, is one of the newest boutiques in Tampa that the city has to offer.  Her dresses, shoes and accessories are made to fit every body type and style that one could imagine.  Angie and her team make every customer feel like royalty as they are styled and offered treats from champagne, wine and even cigars for the gentlemen who accompany their ladies.  To top off the entire experience, everyone can be assured that these original designer looks will come at the most affordable prices thanks to Angie’s long standing business relationships with the designers.  When visiting Angie’s boutique, delight in the experience and first class treatment, but don't forget to check out her own line entitled Otulia.  This line is made to be able to alter in any way in order to fit every body type perfectly.

Urban Body Clothing, with owner Scott Moore, was another of the three high end boutiques represented in the fashion show.  His looks consisted of 4 stories for men including summer, beach and casual.  Scott’s store has been a staple in the Tampa for over a decade.  While in the past he showcased solely for men, his new location on 711 S. Howard Avenue, caters to both men and women.  What makes Urban Body Clothing especially unique, is the personal relationships Scott Moore builds with seemingly every single one of his customers.  When visiting his new SoHo street-front location, it is expected that you will be welcomed as family while shown only the hottest looks for denim, button-ups, dresses, swim and more.  Scott makes it a point to get to know his customers while styling their body types with only the most complimenting designers, which could be one of the strongest reasons he has remained such a favorite in the Tampa Bay area and an obvious choice for the catwalk in the Chillounge Night Tampa 2011 Fashion Show.

Kit’s Well Heeled & Well Dressed boutique was another obvious choice for this unforgettable fashion show.  Owner, Kit Stewart, has been a faithful staple in the Tampa community for nearly two decades.  Her new boutique location on 3006 Swann Avenue boasts gorgeous, high end casual wear including jeans, shirts, belts and more.  The models in the Chillounge Fashion Show sported Kit’s jeans, high end tops and accessories for the season including her highly desired belts.  It has been well known in Tampa Bay that if one is seeking a combination of classy and trendy in their apparel, then Kit’s Well Heeled & Well Dressed is a top choice.  Her boutique has grown so much throughout the years continuing to prove to locals and visitors that she will be around for quite some time making sure the fashionistas of Tampa will be both well-dressed and well-treated.

The entire fashion show was a success with their choice of boutiques and 12 professional models (9 female and 3 male) from Benz Model & Talent.  The hair and makeup team went above and beyond with their creativity and skill set showcased on each model.  Make-up artist, Andie Sleeman, with hair stylist, Andrew Ashton for La Posh Salon, created summer-sexy bombshells that left lasting impressions on the catwalk.  A special mention to Linda Zipkin and Maria Alithinos for producing the runway show with a combined 30 plus years of experience with fashion shows both locally and internationally.

Together this team gave one of the most memorable events in Tampa along with the education of the three boutiques that everyone should experience for years to come.  With a community so strong and supportive of each other, it is no wonder why amazing events and business owners flourish here.
