Although the South Florida's future along with the Big East is uncertain, one thing is certain, the Bulls continue to play strong week after week. USF, currently ranked Number 18 in the nation, was up against UTEP for their third straight home game at Raymond James Stadium. The attendance at the USF vs UTEP game was 39,628.

The first half ended with USF up 31 to 17. South Florida had 4 running touchdowns and a field goal in that first half while UTEP had 1 running touchdown, 1 passing touchdown and a field goal.

The second half of the game included two passing touchdowns and an interception touchdown for the Bulls. They keep the undefeated record with a 4-0 season.

The Bulls have been 4-0 at the start of 4 of the past 5 seasons. Last year's loss to Florida was their third game of the season. The 2010 season included 4 additional losses leaving USF with a 7-5 record.

USF heads to Pittsburgh next week for their first Big East conference game of the season. Pittsburgh lost today at home to Notre Dame 15-12. The Bulls defeated the Panthers last year in Tampa. Pittsburgh along with Syracuse have recently announced that they will be leaving the Big East and joining the ACC.
