The USF Bulls Football program is gearing up for a sure-to-be exciting 2013 season under the direction of new head coach Willie Taggart. Set to square off against a number of opponents in their newly-named American Athletic Conference as well as an assortment of top NCAA teams, the Bulls have a lot to prove following a dismal 3-9 season under the direction of former head coach Skip Holtz last season. The Bulls will kick off their 2013 season with a home opener against McNeese State on Saturday, August 31 at Raymond James Stadium. Then, the Bulls will travel northward to square off against Michigan State on Saturday, September 7.  Other non-conference teams the Bulls will face off against include FAU on September 14 and Miami on Saturday, September 28.  Both games will be played at home. American Athletic Conference play will begin on Saturday, October 12 with a home game against Cincinnati followed by a consistent lineup of conference teams including UConn, Louisville, Houston, Memphis, SMU, UCF, and Rutgers. The UCF game will be broadcasted live on ABC/ESPN or ESPN2 from Orlando for a special Friday game on November 29.  An away game at Houston will also be shown live on ESPN for a Thursday night game on October 31. 2013 USF Bulls Football Schedule: Sat., Aug. 31 - McNeese State Sat., Sept. 7 - at Michigan St. Sat., Sept. 14 - FAU Sat., Sept. 21 - BYE Sat., Sept. 28 - Miami, Fla.
