Spring Break 2011 in Tampa has all the amenities for this year’s spring breakers. With great hotels for all budgets, restaurants, nightclubs, events and the beach nearby, nothing is left to miss. Tampa also has several neighborhoods which encompass all of these great places for visitors to enjoy. The most popular neighborhoods are Hyde Park, Channelside and Ybor City.

Within Hyde Park, spring breakers can enjoy sushi and drinks at The Rack, popular Friday Night Happy Hours at MacDinton’s, then continue their spring break party at Cheap. The Deck in Hyde Park offers great pizza for the hungry spring breakers who have partied until the wee hours of the night.

Channelside is the perfect destination for the spring breaker that wants all of their venues to be in the same development. With an open center for live music and a view of the water, the area is surrounded by restaurants, bars and even a movie theatre with a VIP Club inside called ‘Dolce Vita.’ Other popular venues in the district are Splitsville, Hooters, Wet Willie’s, Howl at the Moon, Tina Tapa’s, and the NEW Luxury Box!

Ybor City is a large and historic strip that encompasses numerous bars and nightclubs such as Coyote Ugly, Full Moon, G Bar (a popular and well known gay bar), Green Iguana and many more. The center of Ybor has the Improv, for comedy lovers, and a Wet Willie’s on the second floor. Most people like to start in Ybor and head to Channelside or Hyde Park after. There is a trolley that can be taken to and from Channelside and Ybor.
