The Lightning are a great team and its good to have them centrally located in Channelside which is in Downtown Tampa. Great fun for family, friends, and/or partiers. Also, there are great restaurants and bars in walking distance for enjoyment before and after the game.
Pros:
It's good to have a great team in our local market. Going to a Tampa Lightning game is great fun!
Cons:
Many people don't like that Tampa has a hockey team, let alone that our hockey wins the Stanley Cup.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are Stanley Cup champions and hopefully will be champions again for 2011! Let the Lightning Strike twice!

Located in Downtown Tampa which makes it convenient and much easier to get together with friends to watch them play. The St Pete Times Forum is a great venue for the Lightning and always a great time.

When they lose it is not nearly as fun leaving the game.
