The Gasparilla Extravaganza is an alcohol free event celebrating the return of the Gasparilla Season in Tampa Bay. Enjoy a day of events for the kids along Bayshore Blvd.

The Gasparilla Air Invasion at 3:30pm features vintage aircrafts, flight performances and a United States Special Operations Command Parachute Team.

The Gasparilla Children's Parade starts at Bay to Bay and Bayshore and runs north on Bayshore until Watrous/Orleans Aves & Bayshore. The parade lasts from about 4pm - 6:30pm.

At 7:00pm enjoy a Pyrotechnics Fireworks Show. The fireworks display is the year's largest demonstration that re-creates an imaginary sea battle between the pirates and the City of Tampa. The scene will be set for the Annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival scheduled for January 26, 2008.
