The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is Tampa's premier outdoor art festival held annually. The 2012 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts will be held at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa on March 3rd and 4th.Event Details

The 42nd Annual Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts will be held at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa on March 3rd from 9am - 6pm and March 4th from 10am - 5pm. The art festival gathers artist from around the world to display their artwork and hope to capture the $15,000 cash prize for best of show or $65,000 in other prizes.
You will have the opportunity to view and purchase the artwork displayed at the festival. Serious collectors will also be able to view a collector's showcase with award-winning artwork available to purchase.
There is plenty of free family-friendly activities during this event along with viewing some amazing artwork of all styles. The Tampa Museum of Art with host a Children's Activity area will kids can color, paint, and draw while also learning tips from artists.
Food and beverages will be available from specialty vendors and the proceeds will benefit the festival and the Tampa Museum of Art.
Along with great artwork, the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts will also have live entertainment and music. Performers for the 2012 Gasparilla Festival of the Arts will be announced as the event draws closer.
