YDP '12 is a fantastic evening of prizewinning plays written by local high school and middle school students.
Event Details
Gorilla Theatre's annual competition has brought forth 5 great short plays. This year, the theme is "Emergence." Come explore with us as characters become trapped, obsess on the past, create wild artistic expression, take huge leaps of faith, and gamble on wildly improbable chances. All that in the search for freedom!
The winning plays and playwrights are:
"A Room with Two People" by Jillian Boyar
"Full Arc" by Sarah Cohen
"No Fap February" by Alex Gonzalez*
"It's the Way You Heal" by Isabella Menna
"Icarus" by Hannah Mribiha
Artistic Director James Rayfield and Directors Chris Jackson and Giles Davies will bring their visions to the scripts of these young playwrights, in this full professional production.
