Fergs Live Tampa is honored to be a part of this national event, and we would love for all of our Tampa Fergies to join us in honoring the true meaning of Memorial Day.
Event Details
The cross-country Carry The Load Memorial May National Relay is underway and will pass through Tampa Bay on Monday, May 30th, 2016. The March will begin and end at Ferg’s Live in Downtown Tampa. Carry The Load provides an active way for Americans to remember, honor and celebrate military, law enforcement, firefighters and rescue personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
In addition to the 5K ‘Ruck’/March to that will travel the length of Bayshore Blvd., Tampa organizers have planned a post-march Memorial Rally at Ferg’s Live, with a wide array of activities that will further enrich the experience and raise addition funds for this year’s nonprofit partners. Memorial Rally activities include a charity cornhole tournament, live music, a special appearance by Tampa Bay Buccaneer Vincent Jackson, and giveaways of autographed Buccaneers memorabilia.
