The Gasparilla pirates will invade Tampa on January 29, 30, and 31, 2010! Will you be joining the invasion? Once a year the city gives way to Jose Gaspar and his friends and lets the pirates reign supreme. This is your chance to join in and celebrate the pirate experience. Talk, dress, and act like a pirate for the weekend at our boat club.
Tampa Cruis-A-Cade Club has a weekend-long celebration coordinating with Tampa’s Gasparilla Pirate Fest. Boat slips and campsites are available to stay for the whole weekend or just come for each event. Arrive on Friday and hang out with the other pirates at the club for festivities or cruise Tampa Bay searching for pirate ships. Friday evening will be dinner and entertainment at the clubhouse. Saturday has lots to do. We start the day with a continental breakfast. We’ll join the invasion of pirate ships, followed by the awesome Gasparilla Pirate Parade. Downtown Tampa will have a festival starting late afternoon. TCCC will hold our annual Pirate Costume Dinner and Dance that night at our waterfront clubhouse. There will be prizes and raffles and contests throughout the evening. Sunday morning we’ll have a goodbye breakfast to celebrate being a pirate! So dust off your breeches, boots, and scabbards and get ready for a buccaneer time!
This event is open to the public. A weekend package is available for $60.00 per person. Friday and Saturday night dinner and entertainment events are available for $25.00 per person.
