Comments:
Most events that are held here are FREE! Great place for concerts, they do yoga in the park, art events, and so much more. Parking is not bad as there is a couple garages right near the park and street parking north of Kennedy Blvd is free after 6pm and on weekends.
Pros:
The park offers a lot with a huge filed, area with stadium lawn seating, dog park, playground, water fountains for kids to play in, and it is on the Hillsborough River!
Cons:
Most events that are held here are FREE! Great place for concerts, they do yoga in the park, art events, and so much more. I enjoy going to Curtis Hixon Park even just as a place to relax. The events they host here are always a great time and it brings action to the city, which Tampa really needs more things to do in Downtown.
Pros:
Curtis Hixon Park is clean, has great views of the city, is easy to get to and is a great place for concerts.

I usually can find street parking in the city but parking sometimes can be annoying.
