I like the vibes here ...fun, modern, and hip! Being in my 40's I feel very comfortable here. I looked at a few salons in the area when I decided I would like to spray tan. This one by far was the cleanest that I visited. I am not very drawn to the South Tampa life or the people of the area but the salon is an exception. I enjoy the kids who work there and they are always welcoming. I wanted to write a positive review about this place because the salons I visited were nothing as great compared to Zoom Tan. I buy single sessions at $30 a piece and come out looking beautifuly glowing.

When I first joined Zoom I only had the tanning bed membership. After only using the tanning beds for the last 2 months I upgraded to the unlimited membership. The reason I upgraded was because I always see people leaving the salon colored great from the spray tan they have. On my way in or out from tanning I always chat up somebody going to spray and they all convinced me. When I upgraded I have never used the tanning bed since and it has been almost a month now. They do have multi levels of the spray so I am never colored too dark or too light, it is usually just perfect. I had to share my great experience and I am usually never one who writes reviews.

this salon is in a good location in south tampa, however it is always so busy! i mean being busy is a good thing but not when you are in a rush! i used to spray at hyde park tan lounge and was paying a fortune for the same versa spray that i pay half the price for at zoom but now it requires me to have to wait sometimes. they only have 1 level of tannings beds which are way too strong for me i start sweating the second i get inside so i stick with the spray tanning overall a great place especially for the cost

Just like all the other salons in South Tampa they offer the Versa Spa and have more than one so there is hardly ever a wait. This is by far one of the cleanest most modern salons I have ever visited, I signed up for a unlimited package and got an incentive as I was a first time customer. The girl who toured me was very kind and knowledgeable. I am getting married next month and want th perfect tan for my wedding. Thank you Sara!

to the previous guys who posted reviews about hot girls tanning here they are 100 % correct. i mean to begin with usually girls in hyde park are pretty attractive but usually the ones who tan are hotter. ive picked up a few girls in the lobby as i wait for a tanning bed, some great conversations in the lobby and have gotten a few good dates and a nice tan . some down to earth people work there too and personally remember my name which is pretty cool . i definetly recommend this place to guys!

I went to a few tanning salons in SOHO...the people who worked there were always stuck up and at zoom they are far from stuck up nothing but super friendly . Just like some of the other reviews mentioned Chipotle...thats too how I found out about this place by going to grab some Chipotle! I was astonished by the prices and signed up on the spot before I even cancelled my other tanning membership. The prices on the packages they had and the lotions were probably some of the best in town especially for the SOHO area...I have gotten a lot of ladies at my office to sign up with me and we usually go together on our lunch breaks (super convenient, get lunch next door then our tans on!) There is nothing negative at all to say about this place, it's a popular tan spot thats for sure that brings in a great crowd! Thanks ZOOM for my ZOOMIN TAN :)

Just moved into town and went to bronze myself in a tanning bed ... The girl at the counter had such a gorgeous tan and told me she gotten it from their spray tan machine. I'm not very optimistic and have never considered spray tanning...I have always been scared of the horror stories of people turning orange. Her tan looked to good for me to resist so I said why not..what did I have to loose..right. Well I am so glad I did it I am now in love. My tan was instant and perfect ... Not as dark as the girls but one more spray session and I will match her. I signed up for an unlimited spray package! The only downfall of this place is they seem understaffed so sometimes you have a little of a wait while the counter accommodates the person/people in front of you. Throw in a little more staff and I would give this place a 10 other than that it's still awesome for the price!

zoom tan just opened right next to my apartment. i always head to chipotle for lunch so one day i decided to drop by! i got a tour of the salon and the membership rates...more so i was totally impressed. i went down the street and cancelled my tanning membership (place to be unnamed, right down the street super expensive) then came back and signed up at zoom! another perk is they sell the caltan lotions which are hard to find because they are exclusive ...i always use skinny and bam they had my lotion and for 1/3 of the price the salon down the street sells it for. i have now been a member for over a little two months and i truly believe this place is going to close down it's competitors ..the value you get for your money is amazing . i have belonged to numerous tanning salons and always find something negative to say usually the first thing i have an issue with is the staff the girls can always be so snobby but not here i actually enjoy coming into zoom and interacting with the staff . last week i was introduced by the girl to "double dipping" which is uv tanning followed by an immediate spray tan...my tan was fabulous for my birthday!
