Mangroves is great if you're willing to look over a few hurdles. Great dance atmosphere on Saturday nights.
Pros:
Fun place to party a little more on the upscale side in SoHo.
Cons:
Parking is terrible on a busy night. $8 for tiny, weak cocktails you'll wait forever for on a night like this.

Mangroves is one of my favorite places in the Hyde Park / South Tampa area. The crowd is usually really good, the location is in walking distance to many of the other SOHO bars and the service is top notch. You usually can get parking with the Valet which is priced much lower than most of the parking options. You will love the energetic nightlife atmosphere, delicious food and the outdoor patio!

It is hard to find parking unless you valet your car.

Same parking issues as all businesses in Hyde Park. Mangroves does have valet but you need to get there early.
Pros:
Very nice atmosphere, great employees, patio is relaxing, FOOD IS AMAZING.
Cons:
It can get crowded during some of the nightlife, however, it is a great crowd to be around.
